Not fraking again

Okay UN, shut up now.

Well, the UN has done it again, once more they have issued a "Final Wake Up Call." Really, this after so many that have come before. Didn't the Goracle already say that there was nothing more we could do?

Yes, yes he did. Though I don't think the Church of Global Warming would want you to hear that.

Thankfully Inhoffe has once again blasted them for me. That's right, Senator James Inhoffe of Oklahoma has once again told these idiots where to shove it, though I don't think their solar powered homes would work their.

Recently, the inane piece of Go-Se known as the "11th Hour," was made into a movie. It uses scare tactics that make An Inconvenient Truth and The Day After Tomorrow look like best case scenarios. Not to mention the fact that it is filled with pseudo-science of the worst kind.

Oh, and all of you Frak-tards who are pushing this go-se off on the kids? You are on my "Dead to Me" List. Maybe someone will you stop you from further poisoning these young children's minds.

Frak-tards.

Eco-Nuts caused Columbia to fail

This has not been widely reported, and is almost unknown, but it needs to be said. The Environmental groups active in Florida had petitioned the EPA to ban the use of CFC Insulation foam due to the irrational fears that we could affect the Ozone. Of course, if you stick around to read my upcoming report on the chlorine in Volcanoes, you will understand what I am talking about more.

Anyways, back to the foam. The previous foam had been used for years without a significant amount of foam falling off of the fuel tank. After the EPA came in and forced the change, the amount of foam falling off increased significantly, causing more and more scaring on the Thermal Tiles that are so important to the preservation of life for the astronauts on board.

Now, the question is thus. Do we go back to the old foam that might have had a small effect on the environment, or do we go with the new foam that has caused significant damage to the shuttle and has resulted in the loss of life.

Seeing as the Shuttle is going to be retired soon, I vote for the old foam. After all, the Shuttle is going to be necessary to build the Space Elevator. And that is going to be the most "Green" method of space travel available.

Dr. Gray, can I get an autograph? Your recent comment about how we are "Brainwashing our kids," has placed you among the top of my veritable pantheon of Heretical Scientists, and I would like to thank you wholeheartedly for making that absolutely astute comment.

For those of you who have never heard of Dr. William Gray, he is the man who has pioneered the way that we currently track and predict hurricanes. In 1952, he received a Bachelor of Science in Geography from George Washington University, and received a Masters of Science in Atmospherics seven years later at the University of Chicago. He is currently a Doctor of Geophysical Sciences. This man KNOWS what he is talking about.

In fact, his organization, the Tropical Meteorology Project at Colorado State University, Department of Atmospheric Sciences, has been the most accurate organization in terms of the accurate prediction of Hurricanes in both the Atlantic and Pacific.

According to Doctor Gray, a period of warming, driven by the amount of salt in the oceans, is soon going to come to an end, and lead us into a cool-off period that we can expect to see in the next "5 to 8 years."

Interesting how well this corresponds with what I have been saying about the effect that the solar radiation is going to have on the Earth's Climate in the upcoming years. Could they be related? I wonder...?

The Goracle Speaks

He is on C-Span 2 right now, and the bucket is by my chair.

Not even the Bloviator himself, Mr. Bill O'Reilly has the hot air to stand up to this old idiot.

And there he goes, sayign we need to act with "Great Urgency" on the Arctic "Problem" and how the "Alarms are ringing" in the minds of scientists.

Well, Mr. Goracle with your "If you want to go quickly, go alone, if you eant to go far, go in a group." I have my own African Proverb for you, "Don't test the waters with Both feet."

Thank the TRUE GOD that he kept that conference short.

Keeping the Heresy

The Understatement of the Year

Rush Limbaugh recently stated that the "Goracle's" win of the formerly prestigous Nobel Peace Prize has turned the Nobel Committee into "An absolute, 100% Joke." Mr. Limbaugh, I have never respected with you more than I do now.

And Sadly, it is an understatement. Much like the one that a British judge made when he stated that there where some "Inaccuracies" in the Goracle's movie.

Wow, inaccuracies. If you have been reading this blog, you will understand why I believe this.

The Judge made the following comments:

  • The film claims that melting snows on Mount Kilimanjaro evidence global warming. The Government's expert was forced to concede that this is not correct.
  • The film suggests that evidence from ice cores proves that rising CO2 causes temperature increases over 650,000 years. The Court found that the film was misleading: over that period the rises in CO2 lagged behind the temperature rises by 800-2000 years.
  • The film uses emotive images of Hurricane Katrina and suggests that this has been caused by global warming. The Government's expert had to accept that it was "not possible" to attribute one-off events to global warming.
  • The film shows the drying up of Lake Chad and claims that this was caused by global warming. The Government's expert had to accept that this was not the case.
  • The film claims that a study showed that polar bears had drowned due to disappearing arctic ice. It turned out that Mr Gore had misread the study: in fact four polar bears drowned and this was because of a particularly violent storm.
  • The film threatens that global warming could stop the Gulf Stream throwing Europe into an ice age: the Claimant's evidence was that this was a scientific impossibility.
  • The film blames global warming for species losses including coral reef bleaching. The Government could not find any evidence to support this claim.
  • The film suggests that the Greenland ice covering could melt causing sea levels to rise dangerously. The evidence is that Greenland will not melt for millennia.
  • The film suggests that the Antarctic ice covering is melting, the evidence was that it is in fact increasing.
  • The film suggests that sea levels could rise by 7m causing the displacement of millions of people. In fact the evidence is that sea levels are expected to rise by about 40cm over the next hundred years and that there is no such threat of massive migration.
  • The film claims that rising sea levels has caused the evacuation of certain Pacific islands to New Zealand. The Government are unable to substantiate this and the Court observed that this appears to be a false claim.
On a lighter note, some viewer of C-Span 2 recently blamed the Tsunamis and the Bridge Collapse on Global Warming. Might want to get a Prior over there to teach them the truth. Oh wait... That is who probably told them that in the first place.

Friedman's Column, Kyoto Protocol, and the Slayers of the African Dream

Friedman's Column, Kyoto Protocol, and the Slayers of the African Dream
It is a long title, but one that is very telling over what I am going to talk about. In a recent column, Thomas Friedman of the New York Times mentioned the recent growths in Dalian, China and Doha, Qatar. In the column, he commented that he was feeling torn about the fact that the people of Doha where rising themselves out of poverty via "Earth Expensive" energy technology. And that is where I launch from.

Because the thing is, that the infamous Kyoto would have prevented that growth and modernization in Doha by disallowing the cost-effective methods currently being used in the cultivation of civilization and modernization.

And yet, the Champions of Kyoto, almost all them safely within the Prior Category, have ignored the pleadings of the African Economists who have done the studies and know, first hand the damage that will be done to them if these limits are placed on them.

But first, the City of Dalian, China was mentioned, well, lets look at the current Chinese Output of CO2. While the United States is currently leading in CO2 production, China, land of the brown sky, is going to surpass us by the end of the decade.

That is highly signifigant, when you consider that neither China nor India has signed onto Kyoto.

Now, Africa. I have levelled accusations against the authors of Kyoto before, and it is time to pull out the canister rounds. I will be airing as many complaints as I can via my
blog's main cannon, hence the title, canister.

Now, one of the main accusations is that of the Death of the African Dream. For those of you not in the know, the African Dream is the current path being embarked upon by the
African Union to modernize the continent and provide stable homes for the people there. However, the Kyoto Protocol would negate that, and provide huge costs that could be considered dissuasive to development.

Interesting. On top of that, Lake Chad is not evaporating, it is sinking. For those of you have not heard, currently, Lake Chad is shrinking, but at the same time, grasses are expanding out ward in what is called, undesertification, or Reverse Desertification. That is right, for the first time since it was the Tapith Sea, the Sahara Desert is shrinking.

At the same time, The largest environmental damage is being caused by the Forestry methods in use by the people of Central Africa. As opposed to the current methods of either Circular or Selective Harvesting being done in the Western World, the Forestry methods being used in Central Africa can best be described as clear cutting.

In fact, this clear cutting is resulting in the drying of the atmosphere across the climate, causing the Snows of Kilamanjaro to disappear, and the Congo River to diminish.

Solar Energy!

Nanotechnology fully and truly rules. I have long looked forward to the advent of Nanotechnology. And now, there is a new study being done at CalTech that shows that we might be a few years away from using Nanotech for the use of Solar Power.

With the technology that we have, it is entirely possible that we could have Solar Power that is as cheap as the gasoline that we are currently burning for our cars. Errrr, well, maybe not gasoline, but definitely coal.

Imagine, all the energy you could need for a small maintenance fee, and all of it provided on the roof of your house.

I, personally, can't wait.
