The Unzipping of the World

There is a term used in the description of large volcanic eruptions, those of the Caldera Type such as those sitting under Yellowstone National Park, called Unzipping. In an unzipping event, the beginnings are without much notice. A single plume of ash and lava, spewed forth from the center of the earth. Most such events would be viewed by the general population as an unimportant event, and in most cases, a single eruption, anywhere on the planet is not worth noticing.

But, with the right conditions, things can quickly become far worse. Soon, a second and third plume erupts, followed by a fourth and fifth. Quickly, these eruptions would outline the caldera, leaking pressure, until the system reaches the opportune moment, and the whole system blows.

Right now, the world is seeing just such an unzipping, though this time on a Geo-Political stage, with the whole world as it's theater.

In Mexico, a Quasi-Civil War is being conducted down there between a massive coalition of drug cartels, kidnapping rings, and smuggling gangs and their government. On top of that, they are suffering from the new resurrection of the Swine Flu, the form of influenza that created the Spanish Influenza of 1918, one of the worst epidemics in world history, and the one which has been described as "The American Black Plague."

In Pakistan, the Taliban is waging a Quasi-Civil War with the government, and recently killed a group of Pakistani soldiers. Now, the Swat Valley, home to some of the world's best emeralds, has been turned over to them, and a large percentage of the world's best emeralds have now been classified as "Blood Emeralds."

In Thailand, massive political unrest in Bangkok forced government officials and visiting officials from around the Association of South-East Asian Nations out of the city when they stormed the hotel where the ASEAN summit was taking place, threatening to kill the atendees.

In London, the Royal Bank of Scotland was attacked by Anarchists during the G20 Summit, many of whom attempted to burn the building to the ground, as they carried sings calling for the deaths of bank executives.

In Minneapolis, during the Republican National Convention, Anarchists assaulted a number of GOP officials there for the Convention, almost purely because they where conservatives.

In Jamaica, the Army has been called out ahead of a new wave of tax hikes, for fear of massive civil unrest that could result in the collapse of the Island's government.

Amnesty International is warning that Fiji is facing civil unrest within the next few weeks because of army commanders tightening their grips on the citizenry.

In France and Germany, there are constant warnings of a "Summer of Rage" in which the very fabric of the country could be ripped asunder.

So, is the world unzipping? It is entirely possible. One official recently stated that "This is the time in which nations will be re-defined," and if nothing else, governments across the globe will exploit this to their own benefit, and your loss.

My suggestion?

Something will come eventually, it is inevitable. So stock up. Stock up on Salt (It can be used as a preservative or as currency), wheat and corn seeds (can be grown, and the excess seeds used as currency), gold, alcohol (to be used as a disinfectant or trade item), a crossbow, Arrowwood trees (To be used for crossbow bolts), water filters, a diesel generator, several metric tons of diesel, and numerous dietary supplements.

This list is nowhere near conclusive, and is a good overview of the minimum you should have. The most important part of this entire thing is to have a bug-out spot located. If something happens that causes you to flee your home, aimless wandering could result in horrible results, whether in terms of weather or human disaster.

A Challenge

Recently, on a Blog Post from way back, a commenter by the name of patriotman has been commenting on my blog, accusing me of not having any facts, because no government supported scientific group is willing to toe the line and commit Heresy.

The following is a short list of Scientific Papers that discuss Global Warming, and it's effects on Antarctica.

Long story short, Antarctica has been getting colder

Antarctic climate cooling and terrestrial ecosystem response

Executive Summary of the above, from 1986 to 2000, central Antarctic Valleys cooled .7 Celsius per decade with "Serious" ecosystem damage from the cold.

Positive Mass Balance of the Ross Ice Streams, West Antarctica

Executive Summary of the above, side looking radar shows that West Antarctic Ice is increasing at 26.8 gigatons/year. This reverses the previous melting trend that have been acting for the last 6,000 years.

Climate and atmospheric history of the past 420,000 years from the Vostok ice core, Antarctica

Executive Summary of the above, During the last FOUR interglacials going back 420,000 years, the Earth was signifigantly warmer than it is today.

And then, you have massive amounts of data just waiting to be turned into a graph at NASA GISS that shows overall cooling trends far away from the big cities, and warming treands the closer you get to cities such as New York City. Data which is hard to access for those of us who don't know how, because Jim Hansen, the "Opressed" and "Quieted" head of Climate Research for NASA goes out of his way to change what the science actually shows. The basis for this muzzling? He knows that he will lose his job should the truth about Global Warming, and it's Heliocentric Origins, becomes public knowledge.

Stimulus Protests

Its been a while since I last posted something to the blog, so I thought I would kick off the year with a bang.

As you may or may not be aware, anti-stimulus protests have cropped up all across the country. Well, we had one in my backyard today, and as promised over on my domestic policy blog, here are some photos from the event.

We arrived around 9:30 to find that there was already about 25 people where there with signs, waiting for the organizers to arrive. The Police where there, and had numerous cars around the place. They where nothing but helpful, and warned us whenever we were getting close to the building.

"No Moore Pork" was a commonly used slogan by the protesters, who where protesting against the stimuls AND Moore's vote for the package.

As you can see from the coats, it was a COLD day. The above sign got a lot of praise as it showed up, and reflected the sentiment of the day.

There where around 75-100 people at the protest by the time I crossed the street to get pictures. And more kept coming. Still no sign of the media by this point, but both NBC and ABC would show up later on to get some video of it.

People began to group towards the center of the sidewalk and stretch out on either side. By this point, people where reaching the street on both sides of the building. Behind the protestors you can see the cops, who have blocked off the parking lot, and some of the cars parked on the street behind them.

I would say a Ten Year Great Depression in the United States as Europe pulled out in three is great supporting evidence on this one. These protesters where located on a corner lot next to the Office Building we where protesting in front of. It stretched down to the houses, and there where protesters beside me as I took this picture.

Protesters on that corner lot. There where roughly three hundred people there at this point. Many of which where signing up for e-mail alerts for more protests.

On the opposite side from where I was hanging out with people, down by the other corner, these signs where visible. The signs with innuendo where quite common, more so than I thought.

I like the sentiment that the one on the left had. Worst Congress indeed.

The main group for the protest, the speaker can be seen to the right of the main group.

The stuffed rabbit through me for a loop, but I loved the T-Shirt.

This guy showed up late, with a sword in his back. He was very popular with the protesters.

Wish I had more pictures to show, but not all of them loaded to the computer very well, and the battery ran low. I will be better prepared for the march on saturday.

We are meeting at the J.C. Nichols Fountain and marching on Claire McCaskill's Office. Hope to see you there, and hope I have better batteries for the protest.

CNN

I never thought I would say this, especially now that Glenn Beck has transferred over to FOX, but thank you CNN.

Recently, on national cable television, CNN Meteorologist Chad Meyers stated

You know, to think that we could affect weather all that much is pretty arrogant. Mother Nature is so big, the world is so big, the oceans are so big – I think we’re going to die from a lack of fresh water or we’re going to die from ocean acidification before we die from global warming, for sure.
Dr. Jay Lehr, an environmental policy expert stated
If we go back really, in recorded human history, in the 13th Century, we were probably 7 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than we are now and it was a very prosperous time for mankind. If go back to the Revolutionary War 300 years ago, it was very, very cold. We’ve been warming out of that cold spell from the Revolutionary War period and now we’re back into a cooling cycle. The last 10 years have been quite cool. And right now, I think we’re going into cooling rather than warming and that should be a much greater concern for humankind. But, all we can do is adapt. It is the sun that does it, not man.
Another meteorologist, Rob Marciano was quoted thusly about the Goracle's Movie, An Inconvenient Truth, before retracting his comments under a massive wave of threats against his credibility
There are definitely some inaccuracies. The biggest thing I have a problem with is this implication that Katrina was caused by global warming. Global warming does not conclusively cause stronger hurricanes like we’ve seen, by the end of this century we might get about a 5 percent increase.

The Coming Global Eco Court

First, we had the International Court of Justice in the Hague, then we had the International Criminal Court in the Hague, the next international court to take seat in the Hague will be the Global Court for Crimes Against the Earth.

Yes, that's right, the Goraclists seem to want to establish an International Criminal Court to punish those who violate the Kyoto Protocol.

So, when they are done there, who is next? Senator James Inhoffe of Oklahoma perhaps? The False Prophet of the Senate has been extremely vocal in his opposition to Global Warming over the years, and has helped to represent us Heretics on Capitol hill for years.

Perhaps it will be the Cooler Heads Coalition over at GlobalWarming.org. They have been some of the heads of the Heretics for years now.

Or maybe they will target Lord Lawson of Blaby, who published a book recently that was critical of the theory of Global Warming.

Or, it could be Tim Ball, Ph.D., the first Doctorate of Climatology in Canadian History. He has been harsly critical of the Goracle, and has received death threats as a result.

A couple quotes come to mind fromt he Founding Fathers of my beloved homeland come to mind.

A government big enough to supply you with everything you need, is a government big enough to take away everything that you have. - Gerald Ford

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen! - Samuel Adams
Remember people, the removal of your freedoms will come swiftly in the night, sneaking up to you, acclamating you to it's presence. Animate always for freedom and liberty, and never give up the soapbox.

So much to say

Well, it has been a busy couple of days.

First, it turns out that China has Carbon Credits. China? Carbon Credits? From the nation of Brown Air and Deadly Rivers? How is this possible? Well, it certainly isn't because they are cleaning up their act. The Yangtze and Yellow river are still so bad that they won't fish you out if you fall in (it is kinder to let the people drown than get fished out and die of the infections). And Beijing still has Brown Air that on the worst days makes visibility beyond four blocks difficult.

So where are they getting these Carbon Credits? Because the Chinese Communist Party forces abortions upon women pregnant with a third child. Yes, that's right, they are getting Carbon Credits because they are aborting children. Centrally Mandated Abortions at that. This isn't the sin of the US, with Voluntary abortions. This is strapping women to a steel slab and forcing the abortion regardless of whether the woman wants to do so.

It almost makes the Eco-Disaster that China is heading towards seem karmic.

Then, an Australian Minister has recently declared that in his opinion, those who advocate against Global Warming should have their citizenship revoked. But don't worry, he is a member of the Tolerant Left. Those who undergo "RE-EDUCATION" on the matter will be able to get their citizenship back.

So, now us Heretics are to have the Inquisition sicked on us if we live in Aussie Land eh? Well, they will be surprised at how many of us there actually are. Especially after the Australian Broadcasting Corporation put a page on their website that declares that Aussies who live past the age of FIVE are criminals because they have lived to long and used too much of the planet's resources.

If there are any Australians reading this, which I doubt, I mainly ever get hits from Kansas (or Rochester when ever I mention Hillary Clinton...), but on the off chance that there are, organize a protest against this. And let them know that the debate is not over.

I strongly encourage all my readers to go out and buy Red Hot Lies. I know that it is going on my Christmas list. And on the one that goes out to my liberal Grandmother at that. Maybe she will crack it open before she wraps it...

As my guitar gently weeps

It is a sad day for all of us Heretics. Michael Crichton died yesterday at the age of 66 from cancer. If you will recall, I had praised him previously for his book, State of Fear, in which he chronicled the Church against which we fight to this day.

But for me, he was more than just an Icon of Heresy. He was also a hero. I started writing in the summer of third grade, when my father, sick of having to watch Jurassic Park a thousand times a day, dropped the book in my lap and told me I couldn't watch the movie until I had finished the book. That night, my dad and I talked about the implications of Chaos Theory on Evolution for an hour and a half. I was a precocious child.

Since that day, I have been writing. And no matter what my other career ambitions, being a writer was always one of them. And so, Michael Crichton, I would like to say simply that you will be well and truly missed.

John Michael Crichton M.D. October 23, 1942 - November 4, 2009. Rest in Peace.
